Voici la liste des films sélectionnés en compétition.

C’est un regard sur le monde en 37 films courts qui se dessine à travers les compétitions du Festival. Dans une diversité de formes (fiction, animation, documentaire), les films explorent les mutations de notre époque, les souffrances, les combats, mais aussi la force des liens humains, la douceur, l’espérance, tout en interrogeant l’histoire.
Un monde qui lutte par le cinéma et le geste même de réalisation, et par la mise en scène de personnages qui, par le simple fait d’être ensemble, ravivent quelque chose en nous.
Vous trouverez dans ces propositions de cinéma quelques remèdes aux grandes questions qui nous pèsent : peut-être suffirait-il de retirer son cœur pour ne plus souffrir, ou alors de réécrire l’histoire, ou d’exploser encore et encore, à moins qu’un bon verre entre amis, au café du coin, ne suffise à nous redonner espoir.
Si la poésie et le cinéma ne peuvent nous sauver, peut-être peuvent-ils aider à y voir plus clair.

The Festival’s competitions offer a look at the world through 37 short films. In a variety of forms (fiction, animation, documentary), the films explore the transformations of our time, the suffering, the struggles, but also the strength of human bonds, gentleness, hope, while questioning history.
A world that struggles through cinema and the very act of filmmaking, and through the portrayal of characters who, simply by being together, rekindle something within us.
In these cinematic suggestions, you’ll find a few remedies to the big questions that weigh on us: perhaps it would be enough to remove our hearts to stop suffering, or to rewrite history, or to explode again and again, unless a good drink with friends at the local café is enough to give us hope.
If poetry and film can’t save us, perhaps they can help us see things more clearly.
